I decided to use the PPA offered by Pasgui but the contrib plugins did not install and I do not know how to install them...

For questions and bugs with software in this PPA please contact pasgui.
Have you read this on the site you've pasted a link to?

I mean that you have to as pasgui (see the link on the page) if you have problems with his PPA, we don't support his PPA.

oh right... well.. how do you install them normally?
-
Depends on the distro, some of them have -contrib package, some doesn't have.
I think for debian normally there is a codeblocks-contrib package and you have to install it, but I see no such thing in the PPA's page,
so only pasgui can tell you what is the proper way to install it and if the contrib plugins are included.

can I run the older plug ins ?
-
No, probably... they would fail to load or will make codeblocks crash...

hello,
On which version (precise, oneiric, ...) you would like to install codeblocks ?
