Title: Logs & others text colour
Post by: ARooster on November 06, 2011, 02:45:55 pm
Hello, I've just installed Code::Blocks on Ubuntu 11.10. I am having a hard time reading the highlighted error or warning message in the Logs & others window due to the message turning white on the very light gradient background. Is there a way to change the colour of the highlighted text or to change to a darker gradient for the highlighted text and keep the Ambiance theme in Ubuntu?

No, it is answered many times, BTW, search the forum please.
I'm on ubuntu at the moment and have no problems reading it.
Yes we know about the gradient, but no one bothered to fix it.

Hm, this seems like a problem with wxGTK, because the selection in other gtk apps looks differently.

ARooster: Is it possible to report this problem to the ubuntu maintainers of wxGTK, probably they can find why the selections look like that.
I've compiled wxGTK from source and the treectrl example uses the correct selections. I've compiled both 2.8 and 2.9 from svn.
