I’ve in stalled Code::Blocks8.02 some time back and there are no HELP files, could you please post some instruction on installing these files or point me to a link on the subject! My searches of the forum and Google have been fruitless.

Cheers for this link! I’ve down load the .chm version but when I open it the list of contents appears; but if I try to open any of the topics you get this error message
Navigation to the webpage was canceled
What you can try:
Retype the address.
anyone know what I'm doing wrong????

Note: Probably you could try the new version 10.05 :)

Ok so I've load 10.05 and there is still no help files, so I'm stumbling around in the IDE trying to figure things out instead of coding
Help please(I think I’m becoming obsessed with helpfiles in the .chm format)

If you can't use chm, why not using pdf or html ?
-
OCD I suspect, I'm now using the PDF with gritted teeth!

If you can not open the chapters in chm-files, it' most likely a problem with the security settings for chm-files in windows.
In some versions you can change the settings from the files context-menu in the windows explorer.

I've now got the .chm files to open correctly (thanks Jens), now the next step in my crusade is to be able to open these files via the IDE> help tab….. HELP please!!!
