Title: Multiple editor windows
Post by: mjordan on February 23, 2010, 05:20:48 pm
Is it possible to have multiple editor windows/panes with different files in each?  I know you can split a file to a new editor window but that's not quite it.

Yes, you can, but you have to use a nightly build.

Mods: please make a sticky thread with this info or something like this.

mjordan: please search before you post!!!!

Thanks.  Is this something that will be worked into a standard release?

Hi,
can someone please briefly describe what is possible insided C::B with multiple monitors and how to achieve it?
I didn't find anything in the help, I'm using the newest nightly SVN 6181.
I found how to drag the Logs&Others pane on a different monitor, but I
don't know how to create a second editor window e.g.
Dragging of the file tabs is not the right way obviously.

HI,

I am using 10.05,  did this feature make it into that release ?  If so then can someone please tell me how to use it ?

Thanks,

Boo

Just drag an editor tab inside the editor window until you see the blueish mark, that indicates where it will be placed and drop it there.
