Title: using contrib plugins
Post by: ilyako on July 19, 2009, 07:35:09 pm
Hi All,

I'm new to code blocks and linux (Ubuntu) and I'm trying to program with the coin3D library. To include this library in my project, the C::B manual suggests I use the library finder plugin, but although it seems like it's installed in C::B (I found it in src/plugins/contrib), it does not appear on the plugins tab. Any suggestions on how to access library finder would be greatly appreciated, along with any general help on starting to program with coin3D/open inventor in C::B.

Thanks!

I had a similar problem although I couldn't find the plugin files anywhere on my system.  I'm using Ubuntu 9.04, and I got Code::Blocks through Synaptic.  I finally realized that I had to get the plugins from Synaptic as well.  They were listed under codeblocks-contrib.
