Title: Back from "vacations" here!
Post by: rickg22 on October 04, 2005, 08:04:49 pm
OK after taking a long break from C::B development, I'm ready to start working on it again! :)

An issue that i stumbled upon:

The latest version I got ( an evaluation RC2 installer that Yiannis sent me) had an awful freeze on startup if i enabled the "improved stability". (I installed all the 3rd party plugins, too) Has this happened to any of you in CVS?

It must be one of the "third-party" plugins. I haven't checked which, though...
Have you tried disabling those plugins, one after another?

So much for "improved stability" :P

Well, a hang is "stable" :-P it keeps in there

Anyway I'm sure it wasn't my fault that it hung in there - i'll try disabling plugins one by one until i find the culprit. Anyway, I don't think including all 3rd party plugins is a good idea. Should we implement some sort of Q&A for plugins?

Yes we should enable QA for plugins, it is easier to find bugs... ;)
