Hey, I'm having crashes
I'm running
- Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty
- May 23, 2007 build
The crash seems to occur when I have several files open, and specifically when I am clicking the tabs to switch between them. The cursor will suddenly switch to some kind of resizing handle.
The c::b window becomes completely frozen. I can however still close it using alt+f4 or minimize it using alt+tab. There are no error messages (probably because it still closed safely.) Sometimes it will ask if you want to save the current project you are working on, and sometimes it wont.
Thanks,
David
p.s. Funny thing, when I was writing this I evoked the bug so that I could describe it, and this time I couldn't close it with alt+f4. It completely crashed my desktop, but everything else about the crash was the same.

You're experiencing the dreaded wxGTK drag'n'drop bug. Upgrade to wxGTK 2.8.x (preferably 2.8.4) to fix it.

Hey thanks! I suppose I should have researched it a little better though. :)

A program crashing the entire desktop in Linux! BLASPHEMY!
Err... yes. Sorry about that. :P

It's only X crashing... The kernel and bash are still available. Nothing of any import is going down. :D
