Title: Faq out of date?
Post by: David Perfors on September 15, 2005, 03:25:42 pm
I am reading the FAQ at the wiki, and I already have updated the supported compilers  :lol: But I am not sure about the following:
Quote
I just installed Code::Blocks Beta4 and I can't compile anything with BCC.

BCC is not supported 100% yet, unfortunately... The next release (namely 1.0-beta6) should address all BCC issues.
Is this already fixed?

well, we're at least a few versions further down the road than 1.0-beta6 if I'm not mistaken...

I think there should be an update to the faq, but with the rate of change, it's difficult to keep up.

Thats why I ask, I don't want to write things that are not true ;)

Exactly. I have a case of verbal diarrhea for the moment, so I would be glad to oblige, but I'm no Borland user since their version 3.1 (a looooooooooooooooooooong way back ;-) ), so I'm not in a position to update that specific part. When it comes to Linux compilation however, I might have some suggestions to share... when I get it to compile myself that is :-)
