Post by: Vampyre_Dark on March 30, 2006, 11:18:11 am
While compiling a single file, I can't click on the error in the build messages and be taken to the error line.

we should remove that "compile single file" feature - noone needs it and it makes only troubles ...

Hello,

I have posted one time about single file "missing functionalities". Here is the topic (http://forums.codeblocks.org/index.php?topic=2312.0).

Best wishes,
Michael

Not, really.

What can be done though, is to use AnnoyingDialog explaining the purpose and disvantages that haves single file compilation.

I hate that Visual Studio can't do single file compilation unless I create a project and solution... That is one thing I liked about C::B, I can compile X-Chat plugins quickly and easily...

I support single file compilation. It's a must have but the developers don't want to spend more time on it.

It could be considered just a matter of taste.

I agree: it's such a pity to create a whole project in order to compile a little single-file program.
