Title: version numbering scheme change and the roadmap
Post by: ixfd64 on February 04, 2010, 02:32:54 am
During the last stable release, the version numbering scheme was changed to that used by Ubuntu. (I know 7-Zip also made a similar change recently, which confused quite a few people.) However, the roadmap on the Code::Blocks wiki still shows the plans for versions 1.0 and 1.5. Should the roadmap be updated, or are the 1.x figures going to be used as internal version numbers? For example, J2SE 5 had an internal version of 1.5.0; is Code::Blocks going to do something similar?
