Title: codeblocks on laptop
Post by: dbreedt on January 03, 2013, 06:16:11 am
Hi , I am starting my degree this year , and programming is a major part of my course , the university I'm going to utilizes codeblocks , I already have codeblocks installed on my pc . But I want to buy a laptop so that I can study more comfortably , and also study on the move , but at the moment , the only laptop I can afford is a lenovo , it has an AMD brazos e300 1.3 ghz processor, 2gb memory , 320 gb hdd, and runs windows 7 , is this laptop suitable for running codeblocks , since coding relies mostly on the processor , will 1.3 ghz be enough to run cb without any problems?

Usually yes, unless you have a lot other CPU eating tasks running in parallel.

I use C::B on win8 and there are no issues as far as I can tell.
For programming you hae to make sure your projects are stored in a folder where you have read-/write-access.
