Title: Build option Button
Post by: tigerbeard on February 06, 2020, 03:39:20 pm
Has it been discussed in the past to add a button to the task bar that gives direct access to the build option dialog? What was the consensus?

If not, I would find such a thing very useful, because this is about the most used dialog for me. I know that project/context/build options gets me there, but it still feels not very smooth, especially when there is a lot of back and forth, e.g. for including/checkin missing libs.

Would be interested what you think about that.

You can assign a keyboard shortcut in Settings -> Editor -> Keyboard shortcuts

True. Thanks for pointing out. But since you can argue that for all functions in the toolbar  :P

I find it helpful to get useful stuff into the standard.
Obviously if I am the only one who thinks thats useful, shortcut is the best option.

I get your reply you would not find that useful?

You can add a ticket on SF, so it won't get lost.
I think it is not a bad idea...
