Hey, would it be too much to ask making the "# are new" bit in USER INFO have another color (maybe red) when there's at least 1 new message?
Really, I don't see them sometimes :P

Will see what I can do :)

Have you tried using the "Show a popup when you receive new messages?" setting in your profile under Personal Messages?
-
I just set that option. Would somebody mind to send me a private message so I can see how it looks?
-
Ok, thanks. So far I've received 3 PMs but I would still prefer to see it red :(

Or in bold face, same way as the name is shown.
You have a very valid point there. This forum software rocks, I have rarely (if ever) seen a better forum, except for two things:
1. I always get confused about "You have 3 messages, 0 are new".
It is the order of appearance that puts this kind of emphasis into it.
Thus, it would really better be "You have 3 messages, 0 are new" or "You have no new messages (3 old messages)".
I delete all my messages now because otherwise, I click on "You have x messages" each time I view a page (yes, call me stupid, but it gets me every time!)
2. The version of BBCode used does not seem to allow numbered lists (only bullet lists). Or it does, and I cannot figure it :)

Same here !

OK, I made the "2 are new" part appear bold when number is not zero.
-
Oh, great!
I tried to test it sending me a PM but since it went back to the PM page I couldn't see it marked as new :(
-
Great, thank you :)

Yay! It works!
Thanks for the test PMs too :)
