Why does it compile without errors and warnings?

Code::Blocks 17.12
Default MinGW

Because it is valid code!

Please learn the name and version of your Compiler.

Please find an website for newbie coding questions!

So, after you find a support site for your Compiler tell them the Compiler version info!
