Title: A 1000 thanks for this excellent IDE
Post by: kalast on October 31, 2008, 05:28:15 pm
For a long time i have been a user of the DevC++ IDE and it has been stable enough for me. I had tried using older versions of code blocks but didn't like them much. However I recently downloaded the 8.02 version and I must say the IDE is now much more mature than DevC++. I have tried wx-DevC++ but it even less stable than the original. Anyway, I really got impressed with your work and felt I should leave a comment.

Hello,
it's approximatly the same story with me, starting with Dev-C++
and then jumping to Code::Blocks.
It's very powerful and easy to use.
Many thanks to all the people involved.  :wink:

On the place of team I would concentratye all forces on wxSmith and other GUI toolkits pulgins. Good GUI support brings the biggest attention to the environment.

Hello, I would also like to say thanks for a job well done.  I am a novice programmer, and I did not like the bulkiness of Visual C++ ide, nor anything to do with .NET.  I wanted lightweight and chose Dev-C++. After a battle with dev-c++'s many bugs, and unable to debug properly with the program, I sought out Code::Blocks and lived happily ever after:)

Thanks for this making this wonderful IDE.  It has kept me motivated to finish my learning of the C++ language.

ME TOO.

My English is poor, sometime I do not know how to express ideas.

If I can read source code to understand, I will do some thing for codeblocks.
