Title: Multi-Byte Characters
Post by: Guest on April 05, 2005, 06:24:35 am
Just started using CodeBlocks and I must say it's an excellent IDE.

I Have a quick question.
I receive and work with source files containing Multi-Byte characters in comments (namely Japanese).
Although I can choose the Japanese language set and system fonts via the Editor Settings, some of the characters are not displayed correctly.
The tab spacing becomes out of alignment as a result too.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues?
If so, are there any workarounds?

This seems to be a unicode problem. Currently, Code::Blocks doesn't support unicode, BUT we're working on it.
