Title: Does downloading Code Block on Windows 8 give problems?

I tried downloading Code Blocks on Windows 8 (with MinGW) but it would say it could not detect the MinGW. I did uninstall it an download it again but the same problem came back again. I was wondering if someone could help me out with this.
