Title: "This aplication has requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual way"
Post by: SplinterOfChaos on February 20, 2008, 09:53:42 pm
I got that message Monday and can no longer start CB. I tried downloading the most recent nightly built, and got the same result.

The full error message:

Runtime Error!

[The address]

This aplication has requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

You can try to delete the content of c:\Document and Settings\<username\applications data\codeblocks.
If you have changes in default.conf, that should not be lost, back it up and copy the changes to the newly created default.conf with cb_share_config.exe.

If that does not work try to also delete the contents of the folder (including the subfolders) where you put the C::B executables.

And if you look for cb_share_config, you can find the sources and the project for it in the tools directory in the CB SVN sources.

Well, I tried deleting the file and saving default, and it worked until I put default back it.

But now, I'm starting from fresh and it works. Thanks, everyone.
