Im looking at your code, to spot some bugs and maybe make some patch (until get understand some wxWidget stuff), and i think you should consider using the gnu build system (autoconf, automake, libtool, etc) for linux users in your proyect and even in the IDE, that way you will have less trouble building app on the GNU/Linux and Unixes enviroment.

II'm actually in progress of making the change but if someone else do it, plz post your work.

The RC2, soon to be released, will contain the gnu build system. I have it ready and I might even post it for testing by users.
