Title: Version roadmap?
Post by: Anonymous on July 11, 2005, 10:00:47 pm
I have got a little question concerning next releases of C::B (these beyond 1.0).

Does C::B have some kind of version roadmap? You know, something like versioning scheme, and list of major/minor goals (i.e full compatibility with wxWidgets 2.6.1, unicode support, etc) that should be achieved before next version++ take place?

Do you think something like this would be helpful (to developers, or users maybe)?

Don't ask why do I ask, I'm just curious what will come after final 1.0...

So far, no, I don't think so. We've been busy fixing bugs (lame excuse, I know :P ) to think about a roadmap. But version 2 will certainly have a visual plugin included :), a new compiler engine, and of course, unicode support.
