Title: compile single file
Post by: brainspoon on June 07, 2005, 10:13:04 pm
Hi,

always when I try to compile a single file of a project to not rebuild the whole thing, I get this warning "Only files that belong to the active project can be compiled..."
Am i doing something wrong?

Actually not. Code::Blocks wasn't designed to compile single files, but projects. And there's a feature request about this, but got dismissed as "wontfix".

Now if you want, we could post a poll asking users whether to allow or not compilation of single files.

It's not a must have but would be time saving.
