Title: How do I completely uninstall C::B from my Mac so I can reinstall a fresh?
Post by: 8TrackRobot on May 25, 2017, 08:44:47 am
Hi,

I have tried to uninstall C:B from my Mac as I think I may have some how changed some setting that meant my programmes were not building, after many hours unsuccessfully trying to resolve this I opted for a 'fresh start'. I tried to get rid of all the C:B files from the ~/Library/Application Support/ and ~/Library/Caches/ folders.

I don't think I have don't this correctly as I have reinstalled C::B which is not like the first time I installed it as C::B just opens, now it crashes a lot and keeps asking me to select a default compiler when I start the programme up so I'm thinking I have missed some or the files?

Ultimately, I am looking to install C:B from fresh, can anybody help?

Thanks in advance.

I am using C:B 13.12 with GNU GCC Compiler - MBP Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015 OS Sierra 10.12.5

Disable Code Completion plugin. Possibly it is crashing at application closing which is throwing Select compiler dialog.
