I don't know if this has been mentioned or not. When i clicked build target in the menu bar at the top it disappeared, pffft, gone. :D I am using Kubuntu feisty 7.04 with codeblocks build Apr 27 2007, wx2.6.1 (Linux, unicode ). I attached an image aswell. Sorry if it's already been mentioned.

Hi, I am back. Tired, no nightly, but that target combo disappearing has been a problem for several months now. I have had it on my opensuse 10.2 since day one, it seems it popped up on linux in wx263, though someone now also seems to suffer from it in wx261 ...
EDIT : Workaround : click on the combobox but on the text of a target (so NOT the drop down arrow) and then select a choice by using the up/::down arrow keys on your keyboard

The problem is not more present with wx2.8.3 on ubuntu 7.04.

Ubuntu 7.04: I changed default "Human" theme and the problem was "solved".

I can NOT compile SVN 3914 because of error in codesnippets.cpp.
Started thread on it of "Compile error on codesnippets.cpp SVN 3914 XP SP2" http://forums.codeblocks.org/index.php/topic,5816.msg44561.html#msg44561
Edit, SVN 3915 added files memorymappedfile.h and memorymappedfile.cpp that might fix it; will compile and see if it works.
