Title: Using CodeBlock with CygWin
Post by: ttttnht on March 11, 2007, 12:32:51 pm
Hi,
I'm new in CodeBlock. I have CygWin under XP/SP2, I install CodeBlock rc2 and to I try to use gcc/g++ come with CygWin. When I try to compile the example program comes with CodeBlock, I got this error message:

Project   : Console application
Compiler  : GNU GCC Compiler (using GNU "make")
Directory : Y:\Projects\CPlusPlus\QDTest\
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Execution of 'make.exe -f C:\DOCUME~1\user\LOCALS~1\Temp\cbm9D0.tmp' in 'Y:\Projects\CPlusPlus\QDTest' failed.

I don't know how to configure the gcc/g++ CygWin with CodeBlock, please help me.

Thanks

First think you might want to try is to -uninstall- the RC2, and switch to the nightlies (http://forums.codeblocks.org/index.php/board,20.0.html).
For the most recent one (http://forums.codeblocks.org/index.php/topic,5380.0.html) somebody even posted a windows installer.
