Title: Can't start new project.... Linux openSUSE
Post by: Spar117 on December 31, 2010, 03:35:03 pm
 Hey guys! I just started using openSUSE, and so I put CodeBlocks on it. installed it just fine, no errors or anything, it starts up just fine, again no errors! But when I click on "Create new project" a new window opens just like normal, but there are no options like "Console Application"
So any ideas?
Thanks!

this once occured to me too, but that was after an update of the CB sources. I build from source, for me this was solved by a complete fresh checkout and clean build.

this has happened to me for another reason..., just rename / move the default.conf

probable location;

/home/username/.codeblocks/default.conf

note:

this will also reset your compilers... so if you move / rename copy the section with custom compilers to the new default.conf that will be auto gen...
