Compiling on a remote system with uniwin (from win to win)

I tried to use uniwin to code on my slow computer (xp) and to compile on a strong distant vista computer.

I installed cygwin and a ssh server on the distant computer and I installed uniwin on my computer.
I can connect on the distant computer with a client such putty and the unwin tests are passed but I am still not able to compile on the remote computer.

I just have a simple question : Is it possible to compile on a remote computer using uniwin if the remote computer is not a unix machine?

If not, do you know an other solution?
