CB on Windows XP and Ubuntu
« on: September 24, 2008, 05:20:10 pm »
Yesterday I installed Code::Blocks on my Windows XP laptop to see if it meet my requiments. It did. Finally an IDE with code completion, I thought. The code completion worked fine with the C++ standard library on my Windows XP laptop, but when I installed it on my Ubuntu box, it failed. How can this happen? Is the two different sources for Windows and Linux? Or is the CB in the Ubuntu Hardy Heron just unstable?

Im so much want this feature on my Linux machine also. Where should I start (eg I want to code it myself to CB), so I could figure the problem out?

To install Code::Blocks on Ubuntu.
Compile the code , you get less trouble.
