Line drawing around source code

Hi,

Hopefully this is a not too stupid question.

Can anyone tell me whether it is possible to draw a box around comments by using graphical characters like can be done in some other editors like e.g. MED or Boxer ?
I have a habit of marking comments that I use to describe the working of function or procedure by using graphical characters to create a box with a single line, double line, ... around the comments.
