Executing CodeBlock
« on: March 05, 2008, 02:04:26 am »
I am able to successfully build the source code for code-block.
But when I execute it, it says that this application has failed to start because codeblocks.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

What could be the problem?

Thanx,
Puneet

Hi !

Did you use the build or the build workspace command in codeblocks project ?

Did you run update.bat in C::B's first src subdir ?
That copies all needed files to output and strips the binaries, but C::B should also run from the devel subdir.

Does the codeblocks.dll exist in the same subdir where the codeblocks.exe is?
If yes you should try to do a rebuild and lokk if it works then.

I removed that error. It was because one of the file was not getting built properly. But now when I execute the code I get the following error ---

Process terminated with status -1073741819
