which MinGW installation

I am using CB nightlys on WinXP.

There is a mingw*.exe in CodeBlocks/bin directory. But I have a other C:/MinGW installation, too.
Which one of it does CB use?

Did I have to update the CB-mingw, too If update my "normal" C:/MinGW?

It uses the one you have configured. Look in compiler settings under "toolchain executables".
