News on the frontpage
« on: August 02, 2005, 08:38:19 am »
Is it possible to show the news at the frontpage? I think it is very interesting for everyone to see what is new when opening the website.
OS: winXP
Compiler: mingw
IDE: Code::Blocks SVN WX: 2.8.4 Wish list: faster code completion, easier debugging, refactoring

I 've added a list of the latest forum topics. I 'm sure Rick can clean this up and make it look better ;)

Yiannis.
Be patient!
This bug will be fixed soon...

Shouldn't it be better to add the latest forum topics on the forums domain? This way we would only go to "forums.codeblocks.org" and get the info we want.

I could paste an "announcements" panel on the front page (just above the main menu and main panel), but it should be short, and non-intrusive.
