Installing GLUT headers??

Hey i installed freeGlut headers on fedora and when creating an OpenGl program it asks me where i put the file and when i specif y /usr/include/GL it tells me that the folder is invalid ?? do i also need the lib files??

Actually i have both the include and lib files, but why wont it find them??!
It gives me the error:
"The path you entered seems valid, but this wizard
can't locate the following GLUT's library file:
glut in it.(Also tried prepending lib and appending .a and .lib)."
