have you heard of autopackage
« on: June 26, 2005, 12:43:34 am »
I was surfing the linspire form when some one told me about AutoPackage(www.autopackage.org).  It  is my understand it a tool to install binnarrys on any linux distribute.  It sound like a must have but i git cunfussed very easy a mis-read things alot.  But if it dose what i think it dose you could use it to install codeblock binnary for all linux distributions(very usefull i think).

What do you think?

It seems very interesting, the only problem is it doesn't handle dependencies that well.  From the way I currently understand it, it can only resolve dependices by getting another autopackage.  So this could work, but I think we would have to build our own autopackage for wxWidgets.
