Codeblocks on Vista(32bit)

Hi, I have recently got a new PC running Windows Vista(32bit)
Now for whatever reason Codeblocks isn't working properly, even though I installed it the same way as always..

What I did on my last computer was
1. Download the RC2 package with Mingw
2. add a path entry to RC2_codeblocks/bin (for mingw and such)
3. Unzip SVN Codeblocks
4. Set GCC to use the one in RC2_codeblocks

Well I tried that on this computer and now I get weird compiling errors..
one I got was for the resource compiler with "No search directories for include files" (or soemthing like that)

also, to get SVN to run, I had to make a folder in something like users/user/appdata/roaming/codeblocks/share/codeblocks/plugins
otherwise it would say the path didn't exist and exit out


Can anyone help!?

a few remarks :
- there are gcc problems on vista, I think a bunch of extra paths need to be added
- we have no idea if there are other problems at this time (search the forum, I think you can find some more info)
- RC2 is way old, don't waste any time on that, try with a nightly build
