C::B hangs at Start, seg fault at Quit

Based on my reply in this other topic of yours, I suggest rebuilding C::B once you have done what I propose in that other link.

In SVN 3811, I still observe this problem (hang on startup) over the last weeks.

Seems that the problem occurs in several places, all of them involving some kind of yield():

I would like to add that on some earlier revisions I too noticed this problem.   But with Rev 3816, I experience _no_ hangs at the start.  Thanks mandrav!

I'm having a similar problem.

Compiling only works without --enable-contrib, otherwise it errors on wxNotepad or something.

I get the hanging behavior described by the original poster. I.e. it hangs after compiler detection, before the tips dialog closes.

Using SuSE 10.2
