I agree that CMake is a cool tool.. but again its not the solution that I was going for.  CMake is just like Bakefile's in the sense that its not a build solution.. its a makefile generator... and again the problem isn't with writing Makefile's.. it is the Makefile..  But I'll look into writing up some CMake stuff too for those that want it.
