Dragging error?

(1/1)

Hi,
I habe a little problem concerning dragging. I try to drag some code in the editor to another position. When releasing the mouse button, the cursor turns into a + sign. I still can move the mouse but can't click anywhere or close a window or whatever. So I habe to reboot. Does anyone know what I can do? I'm using Ubuntu Linux Edgy Eft 6.10 operating system.

This is a know error between WX/GTK and Linux.
Use one of your alternate consoles (Alt-Ctrl-Fx x=1-4) to kill codebocks, then restart it.

It's best not to drag withing the editor windows until this is fixed. Use cut/paste instead.

Thanks for the answer.
I try to avoid dragging but sometimes it happens accidentally.
I tried the key combination but it didn't open up a console but only some random color stuff.

Search for "console"

Doesn't work. I don't see any console to type something in.
