Hanging up on Build

Narcis:
Up until recently CB has run flawlessly, however, for some reason when I build a project (gnu gcc) now, it'll get down to "Linking executable..." and it holds on it. I may have changed or missed something, but I was wondering if someone had a hint to the cause of this problem.
