help im newbie, how to debug?

Hi there, first, sorry if i dont write well, im already studying english :D

C::B   build AUG 31 2006, (Windows Unicode)
MinGW 5.0.2
gdb 6.3-2

i open a proyect in opened files, i can build, i can run it, but debug options appear disable, i check debug path and it is ok, i dont know what to do :x
i dont know if it is important but, Proyect -> Build Options appear disable too  :?
