vk_return kill beep

hello everyone,

I´ve subclassed vk_return events in single line dialogs, so it does what I want, but I cannot figure out how to avoid the beep
done a websearch, but all hits are either russian or chinese
can anyone help me out?

other than I´m using C::B I guess its just related to programming in general, thats why I´ve put the question into this general forum
very sorry, didn´t know this was restricted to compiler related questions
