Linux, Windows, FreeBSD and QT?

(1/1)

Anonymous:
What I want to do, is be able to use a single IDE for Linux, FreeBSD and Windows platforms.

Code::Blocks on Windows is fine...In fact, its great!

Anyone try Code::Blocks on Ubuntu 5.04 Linux?

What about FreeBSD 5.4 RELEASE?

Has anyone tried Qt API with Code::Blocks?
( Qt API? => http://www.trolltech.com/ )

Any tips or experiences on setting things up?

I'm using VMware for Windows.

WinXP = Host OS
Ubuntu = Guest OS 1
FreeBSD = Guest OS 2

Ok...So that's one question answered.

Was there any major things required to make Code::Blocks work with Ubuntu? Or was it relatively straight forward?

I'll try Code::Blocks on FreeBSD and see how it goes.

Really straightforward: just read this general linux step-by-step guide ;)

The only thing currently not working correctly under non-win32 platforms, is the code-completion plugin so you might want to disable it.
