Hmmm, something is gone wrong if you have that with wxwidgets 2.6.3 :). Probably during the update.bat.
Best wishes,
Michael

I've removed all plugins from the Plugin directory and this way C::B starts (fast), then I tried adding the plugins back one by one to the Plugin dir and then start the C::B on every added plugin, hoping to find the buggy plugin. Big suprise: in the end I've added the last plugin (codecompletion.dll) and C::B starts this way to !!!! I don't know the explanation, but now it works, I measured the start time on my slow PC : 23 s. Bszente, the user who gived me the advice to use the nightly builds also complained about slow start:
--- Quote from: bszente on April 01, 2006, 10:29:38 pm ---I just downloaded this windows build, until now I used the official RC2. This new CodeBlocks starts very slow on my computer. It takes ~5s to start up. Is this normal behaviour? The old RC2 started very quick.

Thanks Thomas for the hunch!!!

@dllmain - there's fair chance todays nightly build (if there is one) will resolve this issue:
--- Quote ---Revision: 2298 * Fixed a crash-on-exit issue under windows.
Revision: 2305 * Fixed (finally?) recent crash-on-exit introduced with the new class browser enhancements.
