Resolved Fixed:

* Added $PROJECT_TOPDIR macro. Aliases: $PROJECT_TOPDIRECTORY, $PROJECTTOPDIR and $PROJECTTOPDIRECTORY. Returns the project's common top-level path
* Tools' output is now logged
* Another option was added for tools: "launch in a console and wait for keypress". Note that with this option, the tool's output is not logged
* Moved DEFAULT_CONSOLE_SHELL and DEFAULT_CONSOLE_TERM from compiler plugin to SDK. Still have to move the GUI from compiler options dialog to environment options
* Moved GUI for DEFAULT_CONSOLE_SHELL and DEFAULT_CONSOLE_TERM from compiler options dialog to environment options
* Added namespace FileFilters. It contains few functions for registering/retrieving file extension filters. It also contains some constants for widely used file extensions (moved from settings.h)
* Files extensions loaded from editor lexers are now registered with Code::Blocks as supported file extensions and appear in file dialogs filters
* Fixed build error in toolsmanager.cpp for non-windows platforms
Regressions/Confirmed/Annoying/Common bugs:

* toolbar-images-not-changing-state (is a wx problem)
* there are several issues with Code Completion (is being redesigned : work in progress)

Kagan:
Hi,

it seems there is a project dependencies bug in this version. I think it was not there a week or two ago:

Project A is creates a static library
Project B creates an executable, which depends on the library created in Project A
The active project in CodeBlocks is B
I am editing a source file of Project A and hit F9
The source file is compiled and the library is created as expected
But the Project B doesn't recognise the update of Project A. I.e the exe is not linked and the untouched exe is started.

Cheers

Kagan:
Hi,

I found the reason to my problem in the project file of project B. Project A library was listed in the <Linker> tag, but not in

<Option external_deps=....>

As far as I could figure out, the first one is visible in the build options dialog box and the second isn't.

Cheers,
