Debugger feature?

Dear *,

Using Cb (windows XP , nightly build 2141) I observed the following issue:

A) If I am using the flag -ggdb3 the debbugger seems ignore the breakpoints

B) If I am using the flag -g3 the debugger stops at the breakpoints.

Is this a bug? Which is the "best" (i.e. the most compatible ) flag to be used with GDB 6.3.
