How to build a .deb package of C::B (ubuntu 5.10)

<< < (4/7) > >>

ZekeDragon:
Michael, I don't like ads, so I mirrored it on my own site.  Hope you don't mind, it's here:

.deb file

.changes file

Hope they make you happy, and I'd be willing to mirror the rest from now on, it's the least I can do, you guys help me so much.

- Zeke

EDIT: The .changes file was wrong... my bad.

Thank you very much. I am sure users will appreciate that :D.

I do no like ads too :D. Unfortunately, it is a free File Hosting. Most of the free File Hosting have ads if you do not pay :(. If someone know a better File Hosting, then I will change immediately :D.

Anyway, just 2 remarks. I normally update a new package several times a week depending on my time schedule (make a package takes me 1 hour or more). Soon, there will be Linux builds of C::B too. See the post of Killerbot.

Best wishes,
Michael

ZekeDragon:
I'm going to set up a nice PHP script soon on my site that allows people to upload any files they want to mirror off of my site, completely ad-free.  However, because that kind of service might start getting 'expensive' on my bandwidth, I'm going to leave it as an invite only system, at least for now until I can take the load easier, probably when I install a server in my home.  The only thing I can imagine it not allowing to upload as it stands are script files which would run server side and allow a cracker to enter into my server unattended.  As long as that's out, I think it should be okay (and an invite-only system would make it pretty easy to keep unsavoury folks out.)

Basically make a nice image/file hoster, completely free and ad-less, because none of such exist.

Cool 8).

Thank you :D.

Best wishes,
