C:B cross-compile to RPi4 ARM from Ubuntu 16.04lts (x86-64) using Clang C++

Would like to:
Cross compile to Raspberry Pi OS (RPi4 ARM v8 A64) using Clang C++ within a C:B project.
Development system is a System 76 (Intel X86-64) PC running Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.
Are there any guides which make this easier than an every-switch-and-library ordeal?
