problem with build button

regtest:
So i have this problem, some times im just writting my code and suddenly the button for building doesnt work anymore, like i cant use it, and when i go to close the ide theres a message that says that its compiling, however, i just didnt do anything, it just started to compile something and i cant build anything, i just dont understand whats happening, i need to close the program over and over bc it just wants to compile something without even asking and its really annoying, if anyone had the same problem and found a solution pls tell me

Posting the Code::Blocks version and operating system information is needed to give good help.

If on windows, post the anti virus software information, also.

If not on windows, post how Code::Blocks was installed.
