Code::Blocks version 20 toolbars are not shown correctly
« on: March 13, 2021, 12:49:17 pm »
I'm using Code::Blocks on Fedora, MATE desktop environment.

Since update to version 20.03 CDB window is not shown correctly: open files tabs are missing, instead of project management tabs underlying desktop windows are seen, fonts in toolbar's drop-down lists are not suitable, etc.

Version 17.12 works perfectly, but I'm not sure if I could stay at this version forever.

Is it only me facing this problem? How to solve it?

What is the info in Help -> About -> Information? Probably this is some GTK3 problem...

Seems to me nothing special. There are some critical GTK assertion failures in terminal, I'll attach complete output also.

It is a gtk3 related issue. Not sure if it is a bug in wxGTK or in C::B or both.

You could probably log it next to these ones https://sourceforge.net/p/codeblocks/tickets/search/?q=labels%3A%22gtk3%22
