my codeblocks will not open correctly on my Mac, I keep getting a blank grey scr

can someone please help I do not know what I have done and been stuck on this for about a week lol.
Basically i was first trying to fix an issue I had that there was no such file or directory and I think I clicked the wrong thing by mistake because now I keep getting a grey screen when trying to start a new project from console application.???
