Arduino wizard template broken?
« on: December 13, 2020, 03:22:58 pm »
Its seems that new project template for Arduino is broken on linux, the second page is complety blank, same thing happens when i tried on fresh live usb.
I'm running Mint 20, and live usb was Lubuntu 20. I installed CB from the default repos.
Code
Name             : Code::Blocks
Version          : 20.03-r11997
SDK Version      : 2.0.0
Scintilla Version: 3.7.5
Author           : The Code::Blocks Team
E-mail           : info@codeblocks.org
Website          : http://www.codeblocks.org

wxWidgets Library (wxGTK port)
Version 3.0.4 (Unicode: wchar_t, debug level: 1),
Runtime version of toolkit used is 3.24.
Compile-time GTK+ version is 3.24.14.

Second picture is when i click next on first.

edit: On Windows7 everything is displayed correctly, problem is linux only.

Hi gulu, I have the same problem, I was looking for a solution on the internet and found nothing, it's a pity that for two years no one replied to this post

There have been a number of template changes since C::B 20.03 was releases, so as Miguel has pointed out it works in the latest nightly.

As such please upgrade to the latest nightly release and test it again.

C::B 20.03 is not the latest. See the following forum for the nightly releases:

Isn't the arduino wizard something obfuscated provided? https://github.com/obfuscated/cb_arduino_template
but i think this is heavily outdated right now...

@macieju-1974
Google "how to install debian packages on ubuntu" and have a read on how to install the applicable Debian nightly build version on the Ubuntu version and/or LM version you have.
